Balloon Fiesta and the 2019 AIBF Chainsaw Carving Exhibition welcomes
Bear Hollow Wood Carvers, a team of Professional Chainsaw Carvers
that will compete and produce some of the most amazing sculptures you will ever see.
Chainsaw sculpture is a relatively new art form that has gained enthusiasts all over the world. The delicate ballet the carvers perform with a powerful chainsaw is mesmerizing. Come and see what all the buzz and chips flying is all about!
The AIBF Chainsaw Carving Exhibition is located at the North end of Balloon Fiesta Park. Guests and spectators will have the opportunity to take one of the beautiful carvings home with them as a wonderful souvenir! There will be a live auction held each Exhibition day, beginning at approximately 5:00 pm. Additional carvings will be available for purchase. We hope you come by and see this fun and fascinating art form in live-action.

Meet the 2019 Carvers:
Jason Emmons – Indiana
Jason has been carving for 17 years. Jason and Cindy Emmons are the founders of Bear Hollow Wood Carvers. Every chance he has is spent with Cindy, their three kids, and whoever else stops at their home in southern Indiana. He loves grilling, hiking, and hanging out with family and friends. Jason will carve in 14 states this year and Europe.
Roark Phillips - Tennessee
Roark was born in Pasadena, TX but now lives in Fayetteville, TN. He has been carving for 13 years. Roark's spare time is spent fishing with his very competitive grandson Carver. Roark will
carve in seven states this year.
Jason Stoner – Pennsylvania
Jason has been carving for 14 years. When he isn’t carving he is eating or sleeping! He likes to fish, hunt, and hang out with his family. His favorite carving was his first-place winning wildebeest escaping a crocodile carved in Chetwynd Canada. He will carve in 14 states this year.
Ken Braun – Colorado
Ken has been carving for 13 years. When he isn’t carving, he enjoys exploring his beautiful state with his family. He loves all things in nature and finds inspiration for his carving in his explorations. Ken will carve in seven states this year.
