Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Announces Pricing for 49^th Event

Albuquerque, NM - The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta® a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, announced its pricing for the 49^th Balloon Fiesta, launching October 3-11, 2020.

“As always, safety is our top concern and as we prepare for the 49th Balloon Fiesta, the safety and health of our pilots, volunteers, staff, guests and community is Balloon Fiesta’s top priority,” says Matt Guthrie, President of the AIBF Board of Directors. “We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) guidance from the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and New Mexico Department of Health regarding the spread of the virus. Like you, we are hopeful this virus and its impacts are remediated quickly for everyone.”

Planning for the 2020 Balloon Fiesta continues. Following last year’s successful event, organizers instituted price increases to cover higher than anticipated costs connected to operating park and ride and providing an increased public safety presence. The AIBF Board delayed any increase to general admission for the 49^th event.
