Last week, we had the chance to meet with a large number of local media about this year’s event.  One of the most engaging topics, in addition to hot air balloons, was the new “Glamping” experience!  Interesting, right?!  Here is a link to a video about glamping at Balloon Fiesta https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=417fYx2SzZE&t=1s

The Balloon Fiesta is the largest gathering of hot air balloons in the world.  Each year we consistently have more than 550 hot air balloons from around the world.  However, we know some of you might be out there counting to discover if we are being accurate.

To save you some time and eyesight, the 2018 event will feature 565 primary pilots (that translates into roughly 565 balloon teams).

Also  this year we will have 16 countries participating in this year’s event including Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Czech Republic, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand and United States.  This will be the first time that the country of Colombia will be represented at Balloon Fiesta.
