1:00pm, 221 Homeland Road NW, Albuquerque 87114 – Media availability for an “X” marks the spot demonstration! The program and demonstration is sponsored by the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, X Marks the Spot, is geared at engaging locals who are excited about the idea of balloons landing on or near their property.

9:00am (for about two hours) – Balloon Fiesta Park, east of center stage – Volunteers will be installing “memory bricks”. These are bricks purchased in memory of someone or to recognize a loved one. This process will take about two hours and will be taking place at the path in the middle of main street that runs east to the roadway.
