Hot air balloons are all different, and so are the people who fly them.

Their hobby is big business for New Mexico. The annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta reported that nearly 888,000 guests attended the nine-day event in 2017 — about 50,000 more people than the year prior. The Fiesta's total economic impact for businesses in the metro area was almost $173 million in 2017.
