Ed Yost: Forever Pushing the Envelope

Ed Yost and a team of colleagues at Raven Industries developed the modern hot air balloon in 1960. Yost was instrumental not only in developing and testing the modern hot air balloon, but he also designed and built some of the most important balloons in the history of ballooning. While focusing on the first modern hot air balloon and the early test flights, Ed Yost: Forever Pushing the Envelope also pays homage to Yost’s enduring legacy to ballooning.
